NEWIG’s mission is to improve the socio-economic and political status of women in Ghana, particularly the poor, marginalized and vulnerable. The vision of NEWIG is to be an internationally recognized non for profit agency for building the capacity of the vulnerable.

NEWIG was founded on 8th January 2002 as skills development and gender employment non-government, non-profit organization with the goal of improving the conditions of the less privileged in society especially women. It does this by creating the needed platform for them to have access vocations (economic empowerment), good health and a sustainable life style as well as political leverage in society. read more
