Function of the Board Members is to support, monitor and evaluate programmes to ensure smooth progress of NEWIG activities. Currently they render their services on voluntary basis.
NEWIG has a staff of nine people made up of full and part time workers:
* Executive Director is the Head of the Organisation and a full time staff member. She facilitates the development of appropriate programmes that ensure the smooth progress of NEWIG mission. She also facilitates monitoring and evaluation of NEWIG programmes.
* Project Officer is a part time worker who co-ordinates, monitors and evaluates all the organisation’s programmes. The Project Officer is directly responsible to the Executive Director.
* Finance Coordinator is a part time worker who is in charge of all finance coordination. The Finance Coordinator reports directly to the Project Officer and monthly to the Executive Director.
* Assistant Project Officer is a full time worker who assists the Project Officer and reports directly to Project Officer.
* Field Assistants also help implement all programmes. They report to the Assistant Project Officer.
* Office Assistant is a full time worker who reports to the Assistant Project Officer.
